Teens Talk Books

The Naturalist Center is starting a teen book discussion group called “Teens Talk Books.” Any teen (age 13-18) is welcome to join. We will be discussing both fiction and non-fiction books that have scientific and/or environmental themes. Below are descriptions of the first two meetings.

The first meeting is on March 21st, but following this meeting all future meetings will be on the first Saturday of the month. Meetings are held in the Education Classroom which is next to the Naturalist Center on the 3rd floor of the museum. The events are free with admission to the museum, but participants should RSVP to the Naturalist Center at 415-379-5494.

Can You be Both Scientific and Religious?

Mena was looking forward to starting high school—new friends, new teachers, new adventures. Join us for a discussion of Charles and Emma: The Darwins’ Leap of Faith a very intimate biography of Charles Darwin by Deborah Heiligman.
