Effective July 1, 2023: The Hive membership program will be discontinued. We thank our Hive members for your support of the California Academy of Sciences. We hope that you will continue your enthusiasm and championing of our mission to regenerate the natural world through science, learning, and collaboration.

Science + social doesn’t end here. As a thank you and acknowledgment of your support, Hive members will continue to receive Friends Circle benefits ($1,500 level) through December 31, 2023, as well as one VIP ticket to Party After Dark 2024.

Hive Benefits through December 31, 2023

Hive members will receive Friends Circle benefits at the $1500 level which include all member benefits, plus:

Museum access

  • Complimentary admission for up to 6 adults and accompanying children (17 and younger) 
  • Express entry throughout the building (see map)
  • Complimentary admission to NightLife (21+ with ID) for up to 6 adults
  • Personal assistance with live phone support
  • Optional admission card for a caregiver

  • Please note: We will honor your complimentary VIP Party After Dark ticket(s) for April 18, 2024. If you were an active Hive member as of June 30, 2023, you will receive an email on how to redeem your VIP Party After Dark ticket.
