When it comes to the next big earthquake, it's a question of when, not if.
On Thursday, October 17, at 10:20 am, the Academy will participate in the largest earthquake drill on Earth to help people prepare for the inevitable Big One.
If you're visiting the Academy during this time, we highly encourage you to join in! At 10:20 am, an announcement will be made with instructions for participation. Wherever you may be at this time, please take a minute to Drop, Cover and Hold On. Staff will join the drill with guests on the public floor.
