Get an up-close look at tardigrades (nicknamed 'water bears'), microscopic animals built to survive harsh environments—like hot springs, arctic temperatures, and outer space—and extreme conditions, like lengthy periods of drought. Join a team of undergraduate students studying these fascinating creatures as they share SEM (scanning electron microscope) images, help you view live water bears under a microscope, and recount what they've discovered during their summer research, supported by the National Science Foundation.

Program located right outside the Project Lab from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
