Destination Station 2015

NASA's mobile exhibit is an interactive experience which immerses visitors in the story of the International Space Station. Guests will learn the role of the space station as the centerpiece of human exploration that allows us to perform technology demonstrations and scientific studies only possible in microgravity. This research benefits life on Earth and enables deep space exploration.

The unique experience includes an out-of-this-world opportunity to touch a four billion-year-old moon rock brought aboard Apollo 17 in 1972. The moon rock is one of only eight lunar samples in the world made available for the public to touch. Guests also will have the opportunity to take pictures in a life-sized space suit, feel the rumble of a space shuttle launch and interact with space food and hardware.

The Destination Station exhibit will be in the East Garden from 9:30AM to 2:00PM.
