Marine MPA Watch

Join the Marin MPA Watch to learn about marine debris and make a collage out of debris collected form Drakes Beach.

Marin MPA Watch is a citizen science monitoring program training volunteers to observe and collect data about coastal marine resource use inside and outside marine protected areas (MPAs). The Marin MPA Watch is administered by the Environmental Action Committee and partnered with the California Academy of Sciences and Point Reyes National Seashore. Our teams have been collecting marine debris from Drakes Beach n June, July and August to count, sort and create art project for display on California Coastal Clean Up Day, September 19, 2015.
