Cross-Pollination is a live performance by Capacitor (Instagram: @capacitorsf) that explores nature's dramatic story of bees seeking nectar and communicating location through gestures to draw attention to the crucial yet sensitive interaction on which all of our survival depends.
As bees communicate through dance but also vibration, Cross-Pollination is performed on a new interactive dance-motion sculpture designed by 2023 Osher Foundation Fellow Jodi Lomask which contains an interior subwoofer that vibrates with the sound score, offering an obvious experience of resonance.
Performances October 7-9 feature special guest Snow Raven (Instagram: @snowravenofficial)
Funding in part by the New England Foundation for the Arts.
