When there's coverage on nature conservation, the news is seldom good. We hear a lot about forests turning into ashes, continents of plastic on the oceans, and so many species lost—and very little about conservation success. In this talk, Dr. Jon Paul Rodríguez of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) will update the narrative by sharing several conservation success stories, and will introduce Reverse the Red, a new global movement to ignite strategic cooperation and action to ensure the survival of wild species and ecosystems.

This talk is part of the Institute for Biodiversity Science and Sustainability's (IBSS) "Explore, Explain, and Sustain" seminar series.
