Much of my research for the Long View Project is about the history and current practice of waste management in Antarctica. I’ve dealt with the theme in previous posts by looking at environmental contamination and clean-up, grey water treatment, and recycling on the Ice, among other subjects.
This and the following sketchbook pages revisit the theme to further depict and elaborate on the practice, challenges, progress, and importance of keeping Antarctica clean.
