Free international travel for teachers!

The Save the Rainforest program is designed to introduce teachers to the rainforests of Costa Rica. Learn about sustainable practices in the buffer zones around these rainforests and the efforts of conservationists to preserve biodiversity in the tropics.

Teachers whose applications are accepted will travel free of cost and have the option of submitting teaching lesson plans and/or a power point presentation to earn 3 graduate credits in education from Edgewood College in Madison, WI.

Participating teachers will be hosted by Costa Rica's leading conservation organization, Fundacion Neotropica. All food, lodging and transport expenses will be covered. Edgewood College tuition, for those who want to take the trip for credit, is not included.
