Did we mention you get the museum all to yourself? That's right, we'll close down the place for preK-12 educators on Saturday, November 15, 2014, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. If you haven't been to the Academy after hours, you'll be impressed by the unique ambiance.
Academy scientists and educators will be showcasing ready-to-use activities that will help you implement the Science and Engineering Practices (we call them the "SEP") of the Next Generation Science Standards in your classroom. As you wander through the exhibits and chat it up with your colleagues, be sure to check out our tables. You'll go home with something fun to use with your kids!

We've planned the event to match up with the Educator Open House happening that afternoon across the way at the de Young: Start with Art, so considering attending both!
