Transition to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) with help from the FOSS Leadership Team at the Lawrence Hall of Science. Build on your use of the current FOSS CA Edition and move toward FOSS Next Generation.

Register online by Friday, May 15 to reserve your spot on July 6 & 7

In this 2-day workshop at the Lawrence Hall of Science, the FOSS Leadership Team will share strategies and tools designed to help your team meet the expectation of the NGSS, Common Core State Standards for ELA, and new CA ELD standards. This includes learning around:

  • Implementing scientific and engineering practices
  • Engaging with crosscutting concepts
  • Developing the disciplinary core ideas of science

This 2-day workshop is limited to 40 participants and meets for two full days in early July, 2015:

  • Monday, July 6, 10:00am - 4:30pm and
  • Tuesday, July 7, 8:30am - 3:30pm

The cost for individuals is $175, or $150 per team member for teams of two or more.
