TISS is a transformative, two-year professional development program that includes school year workshops, school site coaching, and three summer sessions. The Institute enhances teachers' and students' understanding of science and sustainability. Priority in the selection process is given to teams of 3-4 teachers applying from schools located within 20 miles of California Academy of Sciences.
