Virtual Programs are live, interactive programs that connect your class to Academy collections, animals, and exhibits over the internet. Requiring nothing more than a computer with a reliable internet connection, speakers, and a projector or monitor, these sessions will bring excitement to your science curriculum.

Our educators will be available on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 3:00pm PT. We can start one of our live, interactive programs at a time that fits your schedule.

Waddle like a Penguin (Grades K - 3)
Penguins don’t fly, but they still share features with all birds: Wings, a Beak, and Feathers, Oh My!

Rainforest Meals: Adaptations for Eating (Grades 2 - 4)
Explore the adaptations for eating in some amazing rainforest animals and closely observe the skulls of a few of the organisms we meet.

As astronomers, students will use hands-on models to explore asteroids and comets in this online program!
