Educator Extravaganza
Join fellow educators to explore the California Academy of Sciences inside and out, and walk away with resources, activities and inspiration to bring science into your classroom in exciting new ways. Participate in workshops and behind-the-scenes tours, converse with scientists, and dive deeper into the Academy’s exhibits and research collections.

The 2012 Educator Extravaganza takes place on Saturday, November 3 from 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm at the California Academy of Sciences.

Advance registration is required, and space is limited! The $5 registration fee will help support our education programs.
Start with Art: de Young |
Saturday, November 3,
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Back by popular demand and with added in-gallery activities, Start with Art is presented in conjunction with the California Academy of Sciences Educator Extravaganza. The de Young will host teachers, providing refreshments, curriculum resources, in-gallery activities, and free admission to the special exhibition The William S. Paley Collection: A Taste for Modernism and the de Young permanent collections.
Separate registration is required.
