The 2012 Educator Extravaganza takes place on Saturday, November 3 from 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm at the California Academy of Sciences.
4:00 – 5:30
Check-in, refreshments, pick up passes for sessions. Session passes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
5:30 – 6:30
First Session Experience a workshop, behind-the-scenes tour, or science talk.
6:30 – 7:30
Second Session Experience a workshop, behind-the-scenes tour, or science talk.
7:30 – 8:30
Explore the museum after-hours and interact with Academy scientists.

Back by popular demand and with added in-gallery activities, Start with Art is presented in conjunction with the California Academy of Sciences Educator Extravaganza. The de Young will host teachers, providing refreshments, curriculum resources, in-gallery activities, and free admission to the special exhibition The William S. Paley Collection: A Taste for Modernism and the de Young permanent collections.
