Begin your summer adventure with a trip to the California Academy of Sciences, and your family may be one of three lucky winners to explore the museum and camp out with the penguins after dark! Purchase your general admission tickets at the Academy between July 1-August 31, 2010 and enter your name, or mail in your entry, for a chance to win a Penguins+Pajamas™ Sleepover package for a family of four. Adults 18 and over may register to enter the Penguins+Pajamas Sweepstakes. Penguins+Pajamas is a program for children ages 6 and over; an adult chaperone must accompany every group of up to four participants. Winners will receive notification by e-mail and notifications will be made on or about September 7, 2010. Please do not contact the Academy regarding the status of the contest.
Camp out for a night at the Academy, and you’ll see the museum in a whole new light. Catch a special penguin talk, and become a stargazing guru during an after-hours planetarium show. Before bedtime, settle in for story time while snacking on cookies and milk, and learn about Pierre — the Academy’s famous wetsuit-wearing penguin. When the lights go out, unroll your sleeping bag in African Hall, next to the swaying kelp of the California Coast tank, or even at the Swamp window, face-to-face with Claude, the albino alligator. In the morning, rise and shine, then head over to the Academy Café for breakfast.
The Penguins+Pajamas Academy sleepover package includes overnight parking in the Music Concourse parking garage as well as next-day museum admission, breakfast, and snacks. For more details on Penguins+Pajamas, click here.

Admission to the California Academy of Sciences includes access to all museum and aquarium exhibits, including the rainforest, the planetarium, the living roof, and the 3D theater. It also includes entry to a wide range of daily programs and activities, including dive shows, penguin feedings, swamp talks and more.
