Get a BIG peek at this WHALE of an exhibit!

April 2, 9:30 am – 5 pm

Mighty and mysterious, colossal and charismatic—whales remain some of the most elusive creatures on the planet. Be one of the first to see Whales: Giants of the Deep, an interactive new exhibition featuring enormous whale skeletons and specimens, interactive media, and rarely seen cultural artifacts. This exclusive preview day gives members the chance to “dive deep” below the ocean’s surface to explore the fascinating adaptations and diversity of whales before the exhibition opens to the public!

Plus, enjoy a suite of special programs throughout the day. Meet Maori cultural ambassadors and learn about their culture and traditions, talk with scientists about the whales off our own coast, and get a first-hand look at whale baleen.
