Piazza Performance
Enjoy jolly live performances by local musicians, magicians, and cultural groups as part of our annual ’Tis the Season for Science festival. All performances are free with Academy admission and take place in the Piazza at 12 pm and 2 pm on the dates listed below.
Friday, December 22: The Tap Dancing Penguins
Tap dancers from Alameda's Dance/10 Performing Arts Center will keep you on your toes as they perform a fantastically festive version of "Happy Feet."

Young Bay Area artists Alliana and Melissa are thrilled to bring their Holiday Cheer to the Piazza stage this year. Tuesday-Thursday, January 2-4: Perry Yan
One of the top kids' magicians in the Bay Area, Perry Yan performs astonishing feats of magic, comedy, and storytelling.

Members of the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District Non-Marching Band—or Sewer Band, for short—all have one thing in common: Their homes are all connected to the same Marin County sewer district! Join them for good, clean, big band fun.
