This fun-filled evening for all ages includes magic shows, a giant pumpkin carving demonstration, special dive program, and

A SuperNatural NightLife

Kick off your Halloween in costume at a SuperNatural edition of the Academy’s weekly NightLife event for adults 21+.
Step into the world of parapsychology with Professor Paranormal, groove to ghoulish tunes by DJ Tomas Diablo, and as always,

Celebrate Halloween with chills and thrills at the Academy! Enjoy ghoulish music by 102.1 KDFC
and Radio Disney, join a costume parade, or delight in performances by
Velocity Circus, magicians, and more! The family fun continues with cockroaches,
snakes, and other creepy crawly critters during live animal demonstrations and special programs. Come in costume and get a free trick or treat bag!*

Admission to the California Academy of Sciences includes access to all museum and aquarium exhibits, including the rainforest, the planetarium, the living roof, and special Halloween activities during regular admission hours.
Costume and Mask Policy |
Event attendees are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes. For the safety and enjoyment of our guests, please keep these guidelines in mind: Costumes should be child-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive or violent in nature. For the safety of all visitors, we ask that guests refrain from wearing masks or other items which obscure the face. Costumes should not contain sharp or pointed objects, or materials that may accidentally strike guests or exhibits. Costumes should not contain any elements which resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon. The California Academy of Sciences reserves the right to turn away any guest with a costume that we deem offensive or unsafe.
