Earth Day 2010 Celebration
Earth day - Every day

Although every day is Earth Day at the Academy, the 40th anniversary of the official Earth Day designation provides a special reason to celebrate.

Earth Day Celebration

Dr. Chris Andrews, Director of Steinhart Aquarium; Earth Day at AT&T Park 2009

The festivities kick off on April 17th and continue through the following weekend. Highlights include special on-floor programs, a return one-week engagement of Fragile Planet in the Morrison Planetarium, a wide-variety of hands on activities and a very special partnership with the Giants and PG&E at AT&T Park on 4/25. There’s also a special NightLife celebration on 4/22 that will include sustainable games, solar panel demonstrations and more!
